Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Test Website
Launch your preferred web browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
Go to: https://webcammictest.com/
Start the Webcam Test
On the homepage, click the large button labeled “Start test”
Your browser will prompt you to allow access to your camera and microphone.
Click “Allow” when prompted.
Check Your Audio / Video
If your webcam is working, you will immediately see your video feed on the screen.
Use the on-screen grid or image effects to adjust your camera angle and lighting if needed.
Use the "Devices" menu to select the desired camera, microphone and speakers.
Click the red Record button located beneath the video preview to capture a short test video.
When you’re finished, click the red button again to stop recording and automatically begin playback.
Watch and listen to your test clip to ensure both your audio and video are clear and working properly.
